Rajendran and Handlooms and Textiles Minister R. Gandhi inaugurated the mini handloom park at Vanavasi in the district on Thursday (March 5, 2026). The Ministers inaugurated the first phase of the park constructed at a cost of ₹1.16 crore and distributed welfare assistance worth ₹41.83 lakh to 98 handloom weavers.
