Minister releases Vision 2030 action plan for Erode district

Minister for Housing, Prohibition and Excise S. Muthusamy on Friday released the Vision 2030 strategies and action plan document for Erode district under the “En Oor En Kanavu” (My Place, My Dream) scheme.

The document outlines development strategies for the district up to 2030 and also includes a report on the achievements and schemes implemented in the district over the past five years. The State government had earlier launched the “En Oor En Kanavu” initiative to prepare long-term development plans for districts across Tamil Nadu. The action plan for Erode district was prepared based on suggestions received during a consultative meeting held on January 30.
