Minister for Finance and Planning Payyavula Keshav on Friday invited leading apparel manufacturer Arvind Limited to establish garment units in Anantapur district.

After holding a review meeting with the Department of Industries, Revenue and Commercial Taxes officials at the Collectorate, the Minister spoke to the representatives of the textiles giant, emphasising their potential to generate large-scale employment.

The Minister and the firm’s representatives discussed the investment prospects and industrial opportunities in the region, with a focus on generating employment at an affordable budget.
