C. Janardhan Reddy offered traditional silk robes to the famous Sri Umamaheswara Swamy temple at Yaganti on behalf of the State government on the occasion of Mahasivaratri on Sunday (February 15). Mr. Janardhan Reddy along with his family members visited the famous Siva temple and was welcomed by the temple officials. After offering the silk robes, he participated in Abhisekham and other rituals. Later, he inaugurated medical camps and also drinking water and buttermilk supply counters in the temple premises. He reviewed the arrangements made for the devotees and asked officials to provide hassle-free darshan to the visiting devotees. He wanted the officials to give priority to facilitating darshan to common devotees during the festival time.
