Minister of Dairy Development T. Mano Thangaraj on Friday distributed appointment orders to 35 post-graduate teachers, who were recruited through Teachers Recruitment Board examination, held in 2025.

Chief Minister M.K. Stalin has formally launched handing over of appointment letters and he distributed appointment letters to 9,801 individuals recruited through various state government recruitment boards, including Tamil Nadu Public Service Corporation (TNPSC), TRB and Medical Services Recruitment Board (MSRB), in Chennai.

Following this, Mr. Thangaraj handed over the appointment orders to recruited PG teachers, at the Chief Educational Officer’s (CEO) office in Nagercoil.

Speaking at the event, he said that Tamil Nadu government has been announcing and implementing welfare schemes for the benefit of the people. “In particular, candidates recruited through Tamil Nadu Public Service Corporation, Teachers Recruitment Board and Tamil Nadu Uniformed Service Recruitment Board have been issued with immediate appointment orders after their selection,” he added.

He noted that in the TRB examination, 8,074 candidates from Kanniyakumari district had applied for the examination for the vacant posts, including Tamil, English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Economics, Geography and Computer Science.

Of the applied candidates, 7,425 wrote the examination and 35 candidates were selected in the examination and participated in the counselling held on February 7 and 9. A total of 11 persons have been selected from Kanniyakumari district and 24 persons selected from other districts.

The minister distributed appointment orders to 35 postgraduate teachers on the occasion.
