Migrant worker stabbed to death following drunken brawl in Periyapalayam

A 33-year-old migrant worker from Uttar Pradesh was stabbed to death by a co-worker during a quarrel at a wooden furniture unit near Periyapalayam in Tiruvallur district on Sunday. 

The victim, Dilip Kumar, 33, from Uttar Pradesh was employed at a private wooden furniture shop, where more than 10 workers from the northern States were employed. The police said that on Sunday, a group of workers consumed liquor on the premises, following which a dispute broke out.
