Men enter JMI girls’ hostel, students claim security lapse

Students of Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) on Friday claimed that a group of men entered a girls’ hostel and termed the incident a “security lapse”.

The incident took place around 9.30 p.m. on Thursday, they said. A purported video shows a group of men being chased out of the hostel by security guards. The Students’ Federation of India’s JMI unit condemned the incident, saying  it “exposes the alarming security failure”.
