Providing details of the financial support, Mr. Ramprasad said in 2025 alone, ₹4.85 crore was reimbursed to 734 RTC employees under the medical reimbursement facility. On the issue of pensions for RTC workers, the Minister assured the Assembly that he would discuss the matter with the Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and ensure that an appropriate decision was taken in the interest of the employees. The Minister claimed that the health and security of RTC workers was the top priority of the government and appreciated the dedicated efforts of the APSRTC staff for successful implementation of the “Stree Shakti” scheme. He informed the House that medical services were currently being provided to the employees through 19 dispensaries located at district headquarters across the State, along with a central hospital in Vijayawada.
