Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka | Photo Credit: NAGARA GOPAL The resounding victory of Congress in the civic polls across the State reflects the trust people reposed in the transparent governance, developmental initiatives and welfare schemes being implemented by the State government, said Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka. He was speaking to mediapersons along with the newly elected Madhira Municipal Chairperson S. Sujatha and Vice-Chairperson K. Dhanikumar of the Congress after their unanimous election in Madhira town on Monday. He said the State government has formulated plans to transform Telangana into a three trillion-dollar economy by 2047. Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy is personally monitoring municipal administration responsibilities to ensure comprehensive urban development. The government is implementing the ‘Cure-Pure-Rare’ policy framework aimed at improving accountability in municipal governance and enhancing citizens’ quality of life, he added. Mr. Vikramarka reiterated that the government would accelerate development and welfare programmes further, honouring the trust placed in it by the people.
