Telangana Fire Department personnel engaged in dousing fire at furniture sheds in Bachupally of Hyderabad | Photo Credit: BY ARRANGEMENT A massive fire broke out in a furniture shop housed in a temporary shed at Pragathi Nagar in Bachupally, Hyderabad, on Tuesday (March 3, 2026) night, quickly spreading to nearly 15 adjacent furniture sheds and reducing them to ashes. No casualties or injuries were reported. According to Kukatpally Station House Officer, T. Jagan Mohan, the distress call was received around 11 p.m., following which six fire tenders were rushed to the spot.
