About 17,000 Booth Level Officers (BLOs) are conducting door-to-door visits in their assigned areas under 13,033 polling stations across the national capital’s 70 Assembly constituencies. The BLOs are linking electors listed in the 2025 voter list with entries in the electoral rolls of 2002, the last time the SIR was conducted in Delhi. Electors whose names do not appear in the 2002 list but have blood relations in it will be considered for progeny mapping. Electors neither listed in the 2002 list nor with relatives in it will be labelled as unmapped. They will be called for a hearing and have to submit documents to prove that they are legitimate voters.
