Manoj Kumar Shokeen raises issue of dilapidated condition of government schools in Nangloi Jat

BJP MLA from Nangloi Jat, Manoj Kumar Shokeen, on Friday (January 9, 2026) raised the issue of dilapidated condition of many government-run schools in his Constituency, in the House.

Mr. Shokeen, while showing photos of the schools, said in the House, “See this Speaker ji, how dangerous is the condition. Any time 500-700 children can die. I’ll table these (photos) too. We have written to the PWD many times.”

Mr. Shokeen said that without any delay, such schools should be repaired.

He blamed the previous AAP government for the current situation of schools.

“One of these schools, we (BJP) have converted to ‘CM Shri’ school. If some disaster happens at the school, then questions will be raised on the (BJP) government,” he said, adding that the government should quickly fix the “problems” created by the previous government.
