A glimpse of the 2025 edition of the ONGC-MRPL Mangaluru International Kite Festival. | Photo Credit: File photo The 8th ONGC-MRPL International Kite Festival will be held on January 17 and 18 as part of the Karavali Utsava festivities at the Blue Bay Beach, Tannirbavi. As per a press release, the festival has been organised by Team Mangalore, a group of kite enthusiasts focused on celebrating the cultural heritage of Dakshina Kannada district. The event would feature a contingent of 60 kite flyers from India and abroad. “It promises to be a spectacular blend of tradition, creativity and international camaraderie, truly reflecting the spirit of Tulunadu,” the release said.
