Several flights from Mangaluru to West Asia were diverted and cancelled following the closure of airspace after Israel and the U.S. launched an offensive against Iran on Saturday, February 28.

According to a communique from Mangaluru International Airport (MgIA), IX831 Mangaluru–Dubai was back to bay while IX821 Mangaluru–Doha was initially diverted to Mumbai and later returned to Mangaluru. 6E1467 Mangaluru-Dubai remained cancelled.
