A person who reportedly violated bind-over orders was arrested by the police and remanded to one month jail. According to police, Somasekhar Reddy alias Rustum, is a resident of Poratakala Colony in Tadipatri town. He was previously arrested around 10 times in gambling cases under the jurisdictions of Singanamala, Putlur, Peddapappur, and Tadipatri Rural police stations. Due to his history, a bind-over case was imposed on him to prevent further involvement in gambling. However, he violated the bind-over conditions and was again caught engaging in gambling activities. He was produced before Tadipatri mandal Magistrate, who remanded him until April 20. As per the Magistrate’s orders, Somasekhar Reddy has been shifted to Tadipatri sub jail. Tadipatri Urban police station Circle Inspector Shivagangadhar Reddy said that such actions will serve as a warning to habitual offenders involved in gambling.
