The Pallavaram police have arrested a 31-year-old man for throwing toilet acid on his estranged wife and causing serious eye injuries following a domestic quarrel. According to the police, the accused, Mohamed Ali, 31, of Kundrathur, had married the victim six years ago. The couple has a four-year-old daughter.
