The Mukkom police on Thursday (February 5) arrested a suspected Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh worker who was accused of sexually abusing a minor girl. The accused was identified as Baburaj, a resident of Mukkom. He was charged under various Sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. The police sources said the incident came to light following a counselling session attended by the nine-year-old girl.
