The students from Malappuram district won the first prize in a legal quiz competition organised by the Kerala State Legal Services Authority (KeLSA) for higher secondary students.

The quiz competition was held at the High Court auditorium on Saturday (January 17), based on the legal lesson book aimed at fostering legal awareness among students.

Liba Nasmin, Hibban, and Mohammed Ashmil of Sullamussalam Higher Secondary School, Areekode, represented Malappuram district and emerged winners.

KeLSA executive chairperson in charge A.K. Jayasankaran Nambiar gave away the trophy to the winners. KeLSA member secretary Anil Bhaskar presided.

Students from Ernakulam and Kottayam districts won the second and third positions, respectively. Malappuram district had won the first prize for excellence in legal services in 2025.
