Bhavika Ahire scored a century (109) and Akshaya Jadhav scalped four wickets (4/39) as Maharashtra defeated Karnataka by 75 runs in the final of the BCCI U-23 Women’s One Day Trophy in Ranchi on Sunday (March 22, 2026). After Karnataka asked Maharashtra to bat first, the latter’s innings was built on solid partnerships for the second wicket (76 runs) and the fourth wicket (63 runs). The 50-run association for the eighth wicket between Bhavika and Dnyaneshwari Patil (20 n.o.) took the score from 236 for seven to 286 for eight. Karnataka was in the chase until it was 148 for four but a lower middle-order collapse proved its undoing.
