Konkan Railway Corporation Limited said it completed platform shelter and platform-surfacing works at three stations in the State, including Surathkal, Udupi, and Mulki. | Photo Credit: ANIL KUMAR SASTRY Konkan Railway Corporation Limited (KRCL) said it achieved significant progress in providing passenger amenities, improving station infrastructure, and strengthening the track network during 2025–26. KRCL also recorded the highest-ever ticket-checking revenue of ₹27.59 crore during the year, besides registering a significant increase in passenger traffic across its network. Guided by the Viksit Bharat vision, KRCL has significantly enhanced connectivity, safety, and sustainability across the scenic Konkan region, a release said.
