A special squad of the Civil Supplies department on Wednesday (April 1, 2026) seized as many as 64 LPG cylinders that were kept in an unsafe manner at Vallikkunnu in Perumanna panchayat. There were 60 empty cylinders and four filled with LPG. Officials said the owners of the cylinders would be traced soon to initiate further legal actions. They also confirmed that the cylinders were kept in a dangerous way without adopting any safety measures.
