Many parts of the north coastal Andhra Pradesh received rainfall on Wednesday, associated with gusty winds and lightning strikes. The climatic conditions suddenly changed in Visakhapatnam city as well, particularly in the evening. Many parts of Anakapalli district received moderate rainfall. The sudden spell of rain was attributed to a combination of low-pressure system over the Bay of Bengal and trough activities over the sea.
