Loan offtake by the Micro, Small and Medium-scale Enterprises (MSMEs) in Coimbatore district has improved this year and is expected to surpass the target. According to the Potential Linked Credit Plan released by the National Bank for Agricultural and Rural Development for 2025-2026, the credit flow target for the MSME sector was ₹39,048 crore. Official sources said between April and December, 2025, 87 % of the target was met. There may be a slowdown in March 2026 if the election dates are announced. But, the target will be met.
