A Sessions Court has sentenced a man to life imprisonment for the murder of his brother-in-law following a domestic quarrel two years ago in Thiruvanmiyur. According to police, Chitra, a resident of Thiruvanmiyur, and her husband Ezhumalai , 32, frequently quarreled over family issues. On the morning of January 13, 2024, Ezhumalai attacked Chitra with a knife during an argument. She was admitted to the Government Royapettah Hospital for treatment and later returned home.
