The advisory, posted on the utility’s official Facebook page, comes amid an LPG crisis triggered by the conflict in West Asia persists. KSEB has urged households to make use of e-cooking appliances such as induction stoves during the day, when the demand on the power system is relatively low. On the other hand, e-cooking may be avoided after 6 p.m. when the electricity demand peaks.

KSEB is currently managing a surge in power demand during the summer months, with peak consumption levels expected to be reached by mid-April.
