The Kerala Disaster Management Authority (KSDMA) on Tuesday issued a warning that the daytime maximum temperature in the State is expected to be 2°C to 3°C above normal until Thursday. Maximum temperatures are very likely to be around 38˚C at isolated places in Palakkad and Kollam districts, 37˚C in Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Thrissur, Ernakulam, Kozhikode and Kannur, and 36˚C in Thiruvananthapuram, Malappuram and Kasargode districts (2 to 3˚C above normal) until March 26. Therefore, hot and Humid weather is very likely to prevail over these districts except in hilly areas until Thursday, said the KSDMA in a statement.
