P.A. Kiran Kumar has been unanimously re-elected president of the Andhra Pradesh Revenue Services Association (APRSA), Guntur district, with M. Venkata Rao as secretary and M. D. Ghouse as vice-president. The elections were held on Sunday.

Addressing the newly elected office-bearers on Tuesday, Mr. Kiran Kumar said the association’s primary objective was to safeguard the rights of revenue employees and serve as an effective bridge between staff and the government, under the leadership of State president Bopparaju Venkateswarlu.

Describing the Revenue Department as the backbone of governance, he highlighted the challenges faced by employees, including round-the-clock duties, heavy workload, and health issues. He said the association had earlier led prolonged agitations on PRC and DA issues and would continue its efforts to address concerns related to the Employees Health Scheme (EHS), workload rationalisation, and staff welfare, including support for bereaved families.

Mr.  Kiran Kumar added that the APRSA would also promote sports and cultural activities to enhance the overall well-being of revenue employees.
