A 26-year-old man from Kerala was killed, and two of his friends were critically injured after their car rammed into a stationary truck near Palani while they were on their way to Kodaikanal. The deceased were identified as Shamsid, 26, hailing from Malappuram district of Kerala. Shamsid was travelling with his friends, Abisath, 26, and Sarath, 26, for a vacation to the hill station.
