A month after issuing a directive to the executive committee of Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple to submit a timeline to complete the renovation work on the moolavigraham (principal idol) of the temple, the Kerala High Court has sought details of the works. The court, while considering a plea that alleged defects in the idol, sought submission of details by Thursday. It had earlier directed the committee to update on the consent from sculptors and the materials that are needed for the renovation work. It also directed that the committee hold a meeting with an expert panel to prepare a timeline for the renovation works.
