As on Friday, Kerala has 2,71,11,856 voters, including 2,70,57,814 general electors and 54,042 service electors

The number of voters in the state is likely to go up by 30,000-40,000 by the time the Assembly polls are held. At present, 73,609 applications are pending before election officials here for enrollment in the voters’ list. This includes 62,401 Form-6 applications and 11,208 Form-6A applications (overseas electors), Chief Electoral Officer Rathan U. Kelkar said.

As on Friday, Kerala has 2,71,11,856 voters, including 2,70,57,814 general electors and 54,042 service electors. These numbers reflect updates to the voters’ list published after the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the electoral roll in Kerala which had 2,69,53,644 voters in total.

“The Integrated Electoral Roll will be published as per the instructions of the Election Commission of India, around the period of the last date of nomination for the Assembly elections,” Mr. Kelkar said. Kerala is currently awaiting the announcement of the election schedule.

At the beginning of the SIR process, Kerala had a little over 2.78 crore voters. The draft SIR roll, published on December 23, 2025 listed a little over 2.54 crore voters. The final roll after SIR had 2.69 crore voters.
