RAGESH Stringent security arrangements are in place around strong rooms in Kozhikode district following the completion of polling for the Assembly elections. Electronic voting machines (EVMs) from various polling booths were shifted to designated strong rooms in GPS-enabled vehicles with police escort. The strong rooms remain sealed, apart from ensuring a three-tier security system comprising Central forces, armed police, and local police. According to officials, the procedures were completed under the supervision of the District Election Officer.
