Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Bilimale said no other folk tradition in India has seen as much quality research as Bhootaradhane has. Ullakulu was a continuation of this scholarly tradition. Author Poovappa Kaniyoor has revised and refined his research done 22 years ago and published it after it has matured.
