From early morning, special puja was performed at temples dedicated to Lord Rama. Abhishekas were conducted using panchamruta and tender coconut water accompanied by recitations of Vishnu Sahasranama, Vayu Stuti and continuous chanting of Rama Nama. Bhajans and other devotional activities continued throughout the day, drawing large numbers of devotees. By afternoon, several grand processions featuring idols of Lord Rama began from different parts of the city. Thousands of devotees participated, with youth dancing energetically to devotional songs played on DJ systems, braving the summer heat. Four major processions marked the celebrations in the city. One of the prominent processions, organised by the Sri Ram Navami Utsav Samiti and Sri Rama Sene Adipurush Utsav Samiti, began from the Ramateertha Temple near Aland check-post. Idols of Lord Rama in standing and seated postures, holding a bow, including a 15-ft idol were carried in the procession which passed through Khadri Chowk, Shahabazaar Naka, Super Market, Janata Bazaar and culminated at Jagat Circle. Another procession, led by the Ram Navami Utsav Samiti, started from Nagareshwar School and proceeded to Jagat Circle. The idol was decorated with a depiction of Ugra Narasimha, while traditional percussion groups such as Nashik dhol and local drum troupes added to the festive atmosphere. The Kannada Nadu Rakshana Pade also organised a procession from Krishneshwar Temple to Ram Mandir Temple. Saffron flags bearing images of Lord Rama and Hanuman dotted the procession routes, as devotees raised slogans hailing lord Rama. Popular devotional songs played on DJ systems and the celebrations saw enthusiastic participation from youngsters, turning the event into a vibrant spectacle. The processions converged at Jagat Circle around 8 p.m. with large crowds lining up the streets along the procession routes to witness the celebrations. As part of the festivities, free food (anna dasoha), water, buttermilk and refreshments were distributed at several places across the city for devotees. The celebrations reflected a blend of deep religious devotion and cultural enthusiasm, with thousands participating in the day-long Ram Navami festivities.
