The silver jubilee and the 26th anniversary celebrations of the Visakhapatnam-based Mahila Chaitanya Sravanthi (MCS) were inaugurated by Justice P. S. Narasimha, Judge, Supreme Court of India, at a programme held in Hyderabad recently. Justice Narasimha, who released a commemorative souvenir, underscored the transformative power of compassion and solidarity. He said that standing by those who need help and assuring them of the same gives them immense hope and confidence. He appreciated Mahila Chaitanya Sravanthi executive members for coming together with a shared vision, and dedicating themselves to the collective growth and noble objectives of the organisation. Justice Battu Devanand, Judge, High Court of Andhra Pradesh, congratulated the members of Mahila Chaitanya Sravanthi and commended their sustained social service, according to a statement issued by MCS. D. Venkata Lakshmi Arrabolu, chairperson of Mahila Chaitanya Sravanthi, reflected upon the organisation’s journey and her own personal transformation through service.
