Mahadevappa for the P. Lankesh Award for the year 2026. The award will be presented in a ceremony to be held in Shivamogga on April 14. Press Trust president N. Manjunath, in a press conference in Shivamogga on Saturday, stated that the trust chose Mr. Mahadevappa for the award instituted in the name of the legendary journalist and author Lankesh, considering his contributions to the field of journalism. He worked for various papers for four decades and mentored many journalists in his long career.
