Jitendra Kumar to star in ZEE5’s psychological thriller ‘Dalimb’

Actor Jitendra Kumar is set to star in ZEE5’s upcoming psychological thriller, Dalimb, the makers announced recently. Written and directed by Priya Aven, the film also stars Priya Bapat, Kshitish Date, Kavin Dave, Sai Prasad, Harish Kulkarni, and Sagar Yadav in pivotal roles.

As per a press release, the film is against the backdrop of suburban middle-class Mumbai, promising to “blur the lines between memory and truth, love and loss, reality and illusion.”

A first look poster from the film was unveiled which features Jitendra in an unrecognisable avatar with his entire face coloured with red, yellow, white and black in a folk style.

Speaking about the film, Jitendra said in a statement, “When I heard the narration of Dalimb last year, I was drawn to its honesty and the depth of the character. Suraaj is layered with a very different graph and I feel that the audience will really connect with it. Working with Priya, Tanuj, Atul and the Ellipsis team was a smooth and fulfilling experience. I’m looking forward to the audience watching the film.”

Dalimb is produced by Atul Kasbekar and Tanuj Garg. It will be released soon on the platform.
