Dinesh, director of the Sri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences and Research, said that a new 200-bed hospital building is being planned on the institute premises here to ensure there is no shortage of beds for patients even by 2040. The work will commence shortly following government approval, and the project is expected to be completed within 24 months before being opened to the public. During his visit to Jayadeva Hospital in Mysuru on Monday (April 13), along with Medical Superintendent K.S. Sadananda, he inspected the wards, canteen, emergency treatment unit, parking area, and other facilities. He instructed engineers to ensure that all essential amenities required for patients and their attendants are provided.
