A seven-member delegation from Fukuoka Foreign Trade Association (FFTA), Japan’s Fukuoka Prefecture, visited Sri City on Friday (February 06, 2026) as part of efforts to strengthen international trade ties and promote industrial collaboration.

The delegation led by FFTA secretary General Masahiro Nishiyori was received by Sri City’s Senior vice-president (Marketing) R. Shivasankar, while Managing Director Ravindra Sannareddy highlighted the region’s evolution into a global manufacturing hub with over 240 companies representing 31 countries.

Bodgan George, Assistant Vice-President (Business Development) presented the advanced infrastructure, diverse industrial base, sustainability-driven approach and investor-friendly ecosystem.

Mr. Masahiro Nishiyori reiterated Sri City’s recognition as one of the promising investment destinations in India’s investment landscape, and hence their visit to explore scope for tie-ups.

AIIMS, Sri City collab

Meanwhile, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS Mangalagiri) has, in collaboration with Sri City Foundation, conducted a comprehensive Basic Life Support (BLS) training programme for students and teachers of high schools in and around Sri City.

Expert trainers led by Senior Nursing Officer S. Dhaneesh Krishnan conducted interactive sessions demonstrating vital emergency response techniques, including CPR, nose bleeding, fits, choking, paralysis, dog bites and snake bites.

Sri City’s Director (CSR) Nireesha Sannareddy commended the AIIMS team for taking such basic techniques to the reach of the common public.
