TDP Polit Bureau member Yanamala Ramakrishnudu on Saturday slammed YSRCP president and former Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, alleging that “Bengaluru has become the ‘back office’ for conspiracies and corruption linked to the YSRCP leadership.”

Addressing the media at Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s camp office at Undavalli, Mr. Ramakrishnudu raised serious questions over Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s prolonged stay in the palace at Yelahanka in Bengaluru.

“Bengaluru is neither Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s birthplace nor his native constituency, nor is it YSRCP’s central office. There is no valid political reason for him to operate from Bengaluru, yet he continues to stay there, creating grave suspicions,” the senior TDP leader said.

Accusing the YSRCP president of shifting his “ill-gotten wealth” to the Bengaluru palace, the TDP leader alleged that even during the tenure of former Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, several conspiracies and corrupt activities were planned from the same location.

Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s assets multiplied by misusing political power, he alleged. Citing the latest report of the Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR), Mr. Ramakrishnudu alleged that the assets of Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy and several key YSRCP leaders had surged by nearly 600% in a short period.

Attributing this to corruption, he accused the YSRCP leadership of joining the “world super-rich club” by amassing wealth over five years.
