ASHOK Ekta Resource Centre for Women on Saturday conducted panel discussions on the issues pertaining to women’s rights and empowerment as part of International Women’s Day celebrations. Director of Ekta Resource Centre for Women Bimla Chandrasekaran highlighted the significance of the theme of the event ‘Give to Gain’, emphasising the importance of collective contribution, solidarity, and continuous efforts towards achieving gender equality and empowering women across all sections of society. The programme brought together experts, activists, and participants to deliberate on key issues concerning women’s rights and empowerment. The theme emphasised that meaningful social progress was built through contribution, mutual support and collective action.
