The ISKCON-Vijayawada chapter on Sunday (April 12, 2026) organised a “Harinaama Sankirtan for World Peace” as part of a nation-wide initiative calling for harmony and global well-being. The spiritual procession was taken out along Bandar Road, starting from Autonagar Gate and passing through Patamata, NTR Circle, Krishnaveni School, D-Mart, and Padavala Revu, before concluding at the Sri Jagannath Temple. A group of around 100 brahmacharis from Mayapur joined devotees in conducting the mass chanting programme, which drew participation from several city dignitaries and spiritual seekers. The event was organised under the guidance of Bhakti Vijaya Bhagavata Swami Maharaj and ISKCON-Vijayawada temple president Chakradhari Prabhu.
