Shivakumar and assured them that two free passes would be given to each legislator for the opening match between RCB and SRH on Saturday (March 28) and four free passes for the next matches to be played at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Sources in Congress said the KSCA has already given a pass each to legislators for the March 28 match and assured them of providing one more pass. Mr. Prasad met Mr. Siddaramaiah and Mr. Shivakumar a day after the MLAs demanded at least four tickets/passes each to watch the IPL matches. The KSCA president also met Leader of the Opposition R. Ashok, who had raised this issue in the Assembly, and during the discussion, the BJP leader told the KSCA chief to give four to five tickets to each MLA. Mr. Prasad told Mr. Ashok that he would not be able to give four tickets for the March 28 match, as all tickets are sold out. Mr. Prasad reportedly told the BJP leader that he would make efforts to provide two tickets each to MLAs who are keen to watch Saturday’s match.
