He was speaking during his interaction with the law students at the H.K.E. Society’s Seth Shankarlal Lahoti (SSL) Law College in Kalaburagi on Thursday. Addressing a packed hall of students, Mr. Patil shared his insights from his extensive judicial career. During an interactive session, he touched upon various aspects of legal education, the functioning of the judicial system, and the crucial role young lawyers play in delivering justice. He encouraged students to maintain high moral standards and professional integrity. Mr. Patil took a moment to laud the achievements of retired Supreme Court judge Shivaraj V. Patil, who is a distinguished alumnus and former principal of SSL Law College. He hailed latter as a role model, praising his simplicity, profound legal scholarship, and deep-seated concern for social welfare. College principal Maheshwari Hiremath, who welcomed the gathering, provided a brief overview of the college’s history and its contributions to legal education in the region. The session concluded with an engaging questions and answers where students sought advice on navigating the challenges of the modern legal landscape. Faculty member Narendra Badasheshi was present.
