INLD national president Abhay Singh Chautala addressing a gathering on Monday. | Photo Credit: Special arrangement The Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) on Monday held a State-level youth conference at Jind’s Narwana, once considered a traditional stronghold of the Chautalas, in a show of strength and aimed at its political resurgence in Haryana. Holding the conference, coinciding with the Martyrs’ Day, INLD national president Abhay Singh Chautala said the party would form a government led by the youth in 2029 and announced to allocate 50% tickets to the young candidates. “Upon the formation of our government, one youth from every household will be provided with a government job. Any youth who remains without employment will be given a monthly honorarium of ₹21,000. Furthermore, interest-free loans of up to ₹1 crore will be provided to the youth to enable them to become self-reliant,” said Mr. Chautala.
