Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal on Monday said the UK FTA with India was trying to be operationalised and would come into effect on May 1, after the four nations—Switzerland, Norway, Liechtenstein, and Iceland—had already come into effect in October. Asked about the outlook for FY27, he said India would grow because so many more FTAs were coming into play.
