Photo credit: @DeptofWar/X via PTI The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) on Thursday (March 5, 2026) dismissed claims made by former U.S. Army Colonel Douglas Macgregor that the United States is using Indian naval bases to attack Iran. Amidst the ongoing Iran-U.S. conflict, Mr. Macgregor claimed on the U.S.-based channel One America News Network that the U.S. Navy was using Indian ports to strike Iran.
