Pax Silica is the U.S. Department of State’s flagship effort on AI and supply chain security, advancing a new economic security consensus among allies and trusted partners. AI In Focus: The 2026 AI Impact Summit put in perspective The AI Impact Summit’s expo has been extended by one day, to Saturday (February 21, 2026), so that attendees can visit with more flexible security arrangements after all the multilateral events at the venue wind up, IT Secretary S. Krishnan said in a press conference on Wednesday (February 18, 2026). Students and professionals, who have not been able to attend on weekdays, would be able to come easily, Mr. Krishnan said.
