In the four Assembly constituencies of Sivaganga district, a total of 105 individuals filed nomination papers, out of which 87 were accepted and 18 were rejected. In the Sivaganga Assembly constituencies, a total of 23 people filed nominations. Among them, the nominations of 19 candidates, including DMK candidate Karunas, AIADMK candidate P.R. Senthilnathan, TVK candidate Kuzhandairani Nachiar, Naam Tamilar Katchi candidate Induja, and Anaithinthia Puratchi Thalaivar Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam candidate Guru. Muruganandam, were accepted; four were rejected. In the Karaikudi Assembly constituencies, a total of 32 people filed nominations. Among them, the nominations of 28 candidates, including NTK candidate Seeman, Congress candidate S. Mangudi, AMMK candidate Therpoghi Pandi, TVK candidate Prabhu, and AIPTMMK candidate Kalimuthu, were accepted; four were rejected. In the Tiruppattur Assembly constituencies, a total of 27 people filed nominations. Among them, the nominations of 24 candidates, including DMK candidate KR. Periakaruppan, BJP candidate K.C. Thirumaran, TVK candidate Srinivasa Sethupathi, NTK candidate Ramya Mohan, and AIPTMMK candidate Umadevi, were accepted; three were rejected. In Manamadurai (SC) Assembly constituencies, a total of 23 people filed nominations. Among them, the nominations of 16 candidates, including DMK candidate A. Tamilarasi, BJP candidate Pon. V. Balaganapathy, TVK candidate Elangovan, NTK candidate Shanmuga Priya, and AIPTMMK Thilak Raj, were accepted; seven nominations were rejected.
