Indian Institute of Technology-Gorakhpur emerged as the winner of the International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC) hosted by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham at its Amritapuri campus. The global competition saw IIT Roorkee and IIT Delhi securing the second and third positions, respectively, following a rigorous two-day event. The inaugural ceremony featured distinguished speakers, including Veronika Soboleva (ICPC Global Foundation Development Director), Jaidevitya Kemani (JetBrains Development Advocate), Dr. Rajan, and Dr. Prema Nedungadi. Open to any student with a passion for coding, the ICPC challenges three-member teams from higher education institutions worldwide to solve complex algorithmic problems within a strict timeframe.
