Security forces detected an improvised explosive device (IED) in Jammu and Kashmir’s Baramulla district, officials said on Friday (February 20, 2026). The IED was detected by security forces at Janbazpora area of the district on Thursday night. They said a bomb disposal squad was called to the spot which defused it without causing any harm.
